Lucy Clay RBS ttc – ARAD- RAD RTS -AISTD cecchetti - AISTD national - Benesh dip
After graduation from the Royal Ballet School Teachers Training Course in 1993, a legacy of Dame Ninette de Valois, I went on to teach University students at the Balettakademien, Sweden. I have subsequently taught private and vocational students in Italy and London, before opening Fancy Footwork in 2001.
My mission is for students to experience the magic of dance at the highest level. Students gain good posture, sound technique, self-discipline, musicality, physicality and stamina resulting in increased fitness levels and self-confidence. It is my wish for students to share my love of Ballet and gain an appreciation for the art of dance.

Lucie began her dance training with the Royal Ballet Junior Associates and Central School of Ballet. Here her passion for dance was firmly established and at 16 years old Lucie was offered a place at the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts, where she studied a three year full time course and was awarded her Musical Theatre Diploma. It was during her professional training at Laine Theatre Arts that Lucie gained her ISTD Associate teaching qualification in classical ballet. Lucie is also a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and coaches for graded and vocational examinations.
Lucie is an enthusiastic and dedicated ballet teacher with over ten years of teaching experience in and around Cambridgeshire and London. Her passion for ballet continues to grow and she loves to share this with her students and encourage them to thrive in their dance environment.
